Addie Sue Williams, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 85. She was born on December 8, 1938, in Shelby, NC. Sue Williams lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family.
Sue was a member of the Lighthouse Full Gospel Holiness Church, where her faith and kindness shone brightly in the community.
Sue was a great cook, known for her delicious meals that brought joy to all who tasted them. She cherished the time spent with her family and friends, valuing every moment together.
Sue is survived by her loving husband of almost 40 years, Marshall Williams, and their five children: Pamela Ann Graham of Stanley, Jesse Graham Pruitt of Belmont, Johnny Ray Williams and fiancé Misty Walker of McAdenville, Jack Mathison Jr. of Belmont, and Devina Parks Moore of Gastonia. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Her funeral service will be held at Lighthouse Full Baptist Church in Mount Holly, NC, on Wednesday May 29, 2024, at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Earl, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
