Alesa Shuford Cox, 58 of Clover, SC, passed away on the morning of August 5, 2021. She was born in York County, SC in 1963. She was preceded in  death by her husband Billy, parents Kenneth and Janice Shuford,and  2 brothers Eugene and Randy. She leaves behind 2 children Wally Kelly (Wendy) and Ashley Groeper. 2 siblings Gwen Etchison (Jeff) and Kevin Shuford (Wendy)., 5 grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Alesa, a US Postal Service retiree, was generous and caring, never withholding anything she had that could benefit another. A private service was held at Maylo United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Painter Funeral and Cremation Services to help defray funeral expenses.
