Alice G. Helms

Alice G. Helms, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 21, 2021.  She was born in Belmont, daughter of the late John and Mary Keller. She was preceded in death by her husbands Jackson George Gilbert Sr. and Ira Michael Helms. She was a member of Calvary Chapel Riverbend. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. After living at Myrtle Beach for many years, she returned home to live with her daughter and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her children Dorthea “Debbie” Maslo, Richard F. Gilbert, George “Drew” Gilbert, Adam L. Gilbert and Phillip G. Gilbert; grandchildren Amanda “Mandy” Hendren, Christopher Gilbert and Kristen Sloan; great grandchildren Harrison and Hudsyn.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00am Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont.
