Angela Maria Autovino Obituary

Angela Maria Autovino, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on January 30, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 8, 1964, in Rochester, New York, to Manfredo and Luisa Pagani. Angela’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and the beauty of family.

Angela was preceded in death by her cherished sister, Roseann Hayes. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two devoted children, Amanda Jonas and her husband Brent of Mount Holly, and Michael Autovino and his wife Amy from Gastonia. Angela took immense pride in being a grandmother to her three beloved grandchildren: Aubrey Autovino, Daxon Autovino, and Blaze Jonas, who brought her endless joy. She is also remembered fondly by her brothers, Len Pagani and Joe Pagani, as well as her longtime companion, Garrett Van Dreel.

In 2001, Angela moved to the Mount Holly area, where she continued her passion for hairstyling. She became a well-respected hair stylist in Charlotte, and in 2005, she co-founded E'Doo Hair Studio with her partners Carol Booker and Ashley Center. Angela’s creativity and dedication to her craft left a lasting impact on her clients and colleagues alike.

Angela was more than just a talented stylist; she was a woman of many interests and passions. She loved to travel, often seeking out new adventures and experiences. Angela learned to scuba dive and found joy in exploring the wonders of the Earth. She cherished family time, especially during beach trips where laughter and love filled the air. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her enjoyment of nature, where she could often be found soaking in the beauty that surrounded her, usually with her favorite bottle of “box” wine nearby.

A proud member of the Mount Holly Foundation, Angela dedicated herself to her community, eager to make a difference and inspire those around her.

Angela’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
