Betty Hartsell Ballard, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 13, 2024. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Jennings and Fannie Hartsell.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Ballard and her brother Donnie Hartsell.
She is survived by 4 sons James, Kelly, Clay and Eric and their spouses, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.
Betty loved being outside, spending time with her dogs and quilting.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice or an animal shelter of the donor's choice
