Betty Clarke Farris, age 87, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. Born to William and Ethel Clarke, Betty lived a life full of grace and compassion. She was a cherished daughter, a devoted mother, and a beloved friend to many.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Susan Mullis. She is survived by her four children: Charlene Farris, Judy Farris, Todd Farris, and David Farris. Betty was also a loving grandmother and great-grandmother, whose legacy of love and kindness will be remembered by her family and all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at Sunset Road Baptist Church on Sunday, August 18, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Betty’s family kindly asks that you please give to someone in need or express an act of kindness in her memory.

Her gentle spirit, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Betty’s legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
