Betty Ruth Searcy Hawkins, 92, passed away on Friday September 23, 2022 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House. She was born in Anderson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Searcy. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Arnold Hawkins, a sister Jesse Mae Fortner and a brother Squire Lewis Searcy. She was a longtime member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd where she kept nursery for over 15 years. She was one of "Charlie's Angels".

Betty is survived by her daughter Ann Berg and husband David of Mount Holly, her grandson Tyler Berg and wife Susan of Mount Holly and several nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 12:00pm Tuesday September 27, 2022 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
