On October 18, 2023, Beverly Elain Headley got her wings and went walking with the angels; she was 70 years old. She was born in Walling Ford District Balaclava, St. Elizabeth Jamaica, to parents Edwin and Emma Reece on February 28, 1953. She was the youngest girl of ten children. Beverly attended the Balaclava infant, primary, and secondary school, where she received her education.
She was an active member of the Balaclava Seventh Day Adventist church. She enjoys cooking, playing family bingo, watching family feuds, and solving crossword puzzles. Beverly was a homemaker and a dedicated mother, first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandbabies and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as “Nani,” as she was affectionately called.
She had a vibrant personality and always made people around her laugh. She was the cherished wife of Percival Headley of 45 years, a loving and devoted mother of three exceptional children: Cassandra Allen, Kendra Headley-Duncan, and Keaton Headley. Hassan Duncan (son-in-law), Athena Epiphane (daughter-in-law), Nicholas Allen (grandson), Brehanna Kenya Williams (granddaughter), Zy’hir Usain-Lebron Duncan (grandson), Zo’hri Ariyah-Tamar Duncan (granddaughter) and Zamar Jalen Headley (grandson). She was also survived by her beautiful sister Zerepha Abraham and brother Patrick Reece, a host of nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, cousins, and friends.
