Billy Roy McClure, by many affectionately known as Uncle Bill of Paw Creek NC passed away on September 30, 2023. 
Proceeded in death by wife Sue (of 61 years) and daughter Glenda Ward. Parents Clifford and Kathleen McClure and 4 bothers Wayne, Dale, David and Boyd. 
Survived is sister Joan Dean, daughter Sandy (Dale) Newcombe and 3 Grandchildren Dustin Newcombe, Sydney (Emily Burk) Newcombe and Jonah Ward and son-in-law Pete Ward.
 He enjoyed fishing with many friends and family and going to hockey games.  He also enjoyed painting everything from his own greeting cards to rocks.  He painted murals on the walls of the children’s church.  He was a member at Cornerstone Family Worship.  He loved to brag about his grandchildren as well as telling stories about things he did when he was younger.   He was also a practical joker and loved making people laugh.
A service to celebrate his life will be held 3:00 pm Tuesday October 10,2023 at Cornerstone Family Worship in Mount Holly.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3:00pm.
