Brandon Deese Freeman Obituary

Brandon Carol Deese, a strong, independent woman, devoted wife, mother, and caregiver, passed away after a life marked by love, service, and a unique spirit that touched everyone who knew her.

A retired substitute teacher, Brandon dedicated herself to education and nurturing young minds. She was a passionate volunteer with the Oak Island Sea Turtle Protection Program, where her love for turtles and the natural world shone brightly. Known as a loyal and loving friend to many, she was also a devoted caregiver to her beloved Princess Izabella.

Brandon was a true “unicorn”—a vibrant red-headed force of nature who lived life on her own terms with warmth, strength, and authenticity.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles (Chuck) Freeman; her son, Michael Freeman, and his wife, Taylor Bleth; her father, Richard H. Deese Sr.; her brother, Richard H. Deese Jr.; her nephew, Tyler Deese, and his wife, Julia Deese, along with their beloved daughter, Princess Izabella; and a multitude of cherished friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday at 12 noon at Community Baptist Church in Dallas, with receiving of friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Oak Island Sea Turtle Program, https://okiseaturtle.org/donate
