Brenda Bailey Breeden

Brenda Bailey Breeden, born November 17, 1942 in Reidsville, NC, peacefully passed away on October 30, 2023 at Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas, NC. 

Brenda was an avid reader, she always had music playing, especially John Denver,3 Dog Night and lots others and she loved creating beautiful cross stitch pieces for her friends and family.  She enjoyed riding her Harley with her husband, including a memorable trip to bike week in Sturgis, South Dakota. She was a lover of animals, we always had a houseful and had a deep affection for Pooh her Old English Sheepdogs.  She also adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Stirling Breeden and her son Sean Breeden. 

Brenda is survived by her daughters Laura Breeden of Rock Hill, SC and Kristie Breeden Pruitt of Bessemer City, NC, grandsons Daniel Osborne, Stirling Osborne, and Badger Compton, granddaughter Kael Duke, great grandchildren Nathan Osborne, Aiden Osborne, Cadence Compton and Robin Compton.  She is also survived by her brother, Bud Bailey of Michigan.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 11th at 11:00 AM at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church at Pleasant Hill at 15000 York Rd Charlotte, NC  28278. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
