Brenda Dyson Moore, 72, passed away on Saturday July 24, 2021. She was born in Salisbury, daughter of the late Eugene and Willie Dyson. She was preceded in death by her brother David Dyson. She was a long-standing member of the I.A.T.S.E. Theatrical Union in Mecklenburg County. She enjoyed working in the yard and traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Oliver S. Moore, 2 daughters Stacy Jones and husband David of Bunn, NC, and Melissa Moore and husband Gregory of Mount Holly. 6 grandchildren Ashley, Katie, Samantha, Trey, Scott and Kendall; 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Debbie Spradling and Linda Quantz.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Brenda will be held 2:00pm Sunday August 1, 2021 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will follow at Pineview Cemetery in Mount Holly.
