Carl Boone Moore, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, at the age of 92 in Greenwood, South Carolina. Born on October 2, 1933, in Gaston County, Carl lived a life full of purpose, devotion, and service.

He was the cherished son of the late Dr. Oliver S. Moore and Ann Moore. Carl began his journey in life as a proud member of the Mount Holly High School Class of 1951, where his passion for learning and community service first blossomed. His pursuit of knowledge led him to Wake Forest University, where he graduated in 1955, followed by his successful completion of studies at the UNC School of Dentistry, setting the stage for a fulfilling career.

Carl's commitment to his country was evident as he served in the United States Navy, embodying the values of duty and honor. His military service was a testament to his character, reflecting his willingness to serve and protect.

In his personal life, Carl was surrounded by love. He was preceded in death by his dear brother Miles Moore and his sister Betty Moore Belk. Carl is survived by his devoted wife, Georgina Moore, and his son, Rhett Moore. He is also survived by his two brothers, Rick Moore and Oliver Moore, as well as numerous extended family members who will carry on his legacy.

A graveside service honoring Carl's life will be held on Friday December 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Pineview Cemetery in Mount Holly.
