Chad Lawrence Elmore, 42, passed away Monday December 26, 2022. He was born in Gaston County, son of Marvin and Helen Carpenter Elmore. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Colleen and Lawrence Elmore. Maternal grandparents Thelma and Ed Carpenter, an older brother Todd Carpenter and uncle Johnny Elmore.He was a heavy equipment operator for Thalle Construction. Chad had a heart as big as the outdoors!!! He loved fishing with his grandpa and loved his son more than life itself!

He is survived by his son Tyler Elmore, a brother Wayne Goude wife Misty, a sister Tracy Cedeno and husband Adam, his girlfriend Daffney Taylor.
Chad had numerous amount of aunts, uncles, cousins nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate his life will be held 1:00pm Monday January 2, 2023 at Trinity Assembly of God with Rev, Gerald Taylor and Rev. Eric Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Dress is casual for the service.
