Crispin Argales

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our kind, generous, funny, and loving husband, father aka “Daddio”, grandfather (Lolo),  great grandfather, brother, and friend, Crispin Argales. Leaving behind a legacy of selflessness, he peacefully passed away at home on Monday, May 1st, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Crispin was the fourth child out of six children to the late Catalino and Ramona Argales. When he came to the United States, he spent the rest of his life in Charlotte, NC where he shared a loving home with his dear wife of more than 50 years, Flora Argales, whom they have seven beautiful daughters: Rose, Tina, Cora, Tess, Lulu, Merlyn (✝), and Maryann. In addition to his wife and six of his daughters, he is also survived by his sons-in-law, 18 grandchildren, siblings (Laura and Bibe), nieces, nephews, and numerous great grandchildren! 

Crispin lived his life as a living example of the Bible verse, 1 Corinthians 16:14, which says, “Let all that you do be done with love.” Throughout his lifetime, he always acted with so much love and kindness. When he could, he worked very hard to provide for his family to ensure that they have a beautiful life. 

Aside from God being the center of his life, he was a kind of man who would put everyone else first before himself. Crispin could be described as a devoted husband, caring father, loving grandfather, and a kind man to whoever he met. His smile and laughter will always be remembered by everyone’s heart whom he touched. He may have passed away, but his legacy will live on in our hearts forever.

His Celebration of Life will be held at Ridgeview Baptist Church (105 Pine Road, Mount Holly NC 28120) on Saturday, May 6th. 

Family Visitation: starting 1:00 pm 

Friends Visitation: starting 2:00 pm

Service starts at 3:00 pm
