With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Danny Gene Craig Sr., who departed this life on August 23, 2024, in Clover, South Carolina. Born on July 27, 1948, Danny graced this world with his presence for 76 beautiful years. He was the cherished son of Lance A Craig and Ina R Craig, who instilled in him the virtues of hard work, kindness, and unwavering love for family.

Danny led a life filled with  integrity. A devoted father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend, Danny's legacy is one of love and commitment to those he held dear.

He is survived by his loving wife Troyce E. Craig. Danny was a proud and loving father to his three sons: Danny G Craig Jr. and his wife Erica Craig, Will Craig, and Jonathan L. Craig and his wife Stacey Craig. His sons were his pride and joy, and he dedicated his life to supporting and nurturing them. His beloved siblings: sister Amber Floyd, brother Jerry Craig, brother Billy Craig, and sister Debie Cordell. Each of them held a special place in Danny's heart, and he cherished the bonds they shared throughout their lives.

As a grandfather, Danny adored his granddaughter, Katherine E Craig. She brought immense joy into his life, and he cherished every moment spent with her.

Danny's love extended beyond his immediate family to his nieces and nephews: Michael Cordell, Jennifer Cordell, Josh Cordell, and Laura Cordell. He relished the role of uncle sharing unforgettable memories with them.

Danny's passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but the memories of his love, warmth, and wisdom will continue to guide and inspire his family and friends.

A service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00pm Saturday August 31, 2024 at Heavenly View Baptist Church in Iron Station.
