David Raymond Murphy

David Raymond Murphy, 71, passed away on March 17, 2022. He was born in Gaston County, son of the late Dorothy and Jack Murphy. He was a US Army Veteran where he was stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his sister Debbie Murphy Pressley.

He is survived by his children Scott Murphy and wife Renee of Stanley, Dawn Murphy of Belmont, and Lori Murphy of Stanley. 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 3 brothers Nathaniel, Ronnie and Dean Murphy, former wife Donna Murphy and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 3:00pm Tuesday at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly. The family will receive friends following the service.
