It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the passing of David Anthony Neagle on September 11, 2023 at the age of 56. David was born on December 6, 1966 in Mecklenburg County and was the son of Connie Steele Neagle and  Don Neagle.

David graduated from South Point High School and Dalfort Aircraft Tech. He was a member of South Point United Methodist Church in Belmont, and his boys were the most important thing in his life.

David loved to work on his 79 Chevy Camaro which was his pride and joy. He was an avid South Point and Clemson Football fan.

In addition to his parents, David is survived by two sons: Zachary Neagle of Belmont and Connor Neagle of Belmont; two brothers, Mark Neagle  and Brian Neagle; two nephews Alex and Dylan Neagle; niece Jaime Neagle; as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A funeral service will be held for David on Thursday September 14th at 3:30 p.m., at South Point United Methodist Church, Belmont, North Carolina. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
