Deborah Wingate Obituary

Deborah ¨Debbie¨ Jean Wingate, 55, passed away on Tuesday July 6th, 2021. She was born in Charlotte NC. She loved singing and anything outdoors. Some of her favorite things to do were singing in the choir, gardening, camping, canoeing and spending as much time in the mountains as possible. Her absolute favorite thing to do was spending time with her family. She was big on family traditions and was the first to plan a family gathering. She rarely missed a sporting event or the chance to cheer for her grandchildren. She loved her Carolina Panthers and worked at the stadium for ten years. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded by her Father, James Wingate. She is survived by her Mother Laura Wingate, sisters; Margaret Wagner, Amy Wingate and Tamra Ellis, her children; Meghan Tench, Lauren Winchester and Steven Tench, her grandchildren; Nadia Tench, Kyndall Godley, Lydia Tench, Carter Roberts, Novaleigh Tench, Skylar Roberts and Rhett Winchester.

The Receiving of Friends will be held on Saturday July 17th from 11:00-1:00 followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00. Both will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 2727 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Rd Charlotte, NC 28214.
