Donald Headrick

Donald Ray Headrick Sr., born August 3, 1942, passed away peacefully at the Lincolnton Rehab Center on November 17, 2021 at the age of 79. He was preceded in death by his parents David Ray Headrick and Mary Magdalene Headrick, his sisters Mary and Betty, his first wife Vivian, his second wife Annis, his granddaughter Vivian and his son in law Floyd Manley.

He was a loving and proud father and grandfather. Donald served his country in the Tennessee Army Reserve. He passed away with the peace and assurance that he was going to be in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  

He is survived by his children David Headrick and wife Teresa of Vale, NC, Donald Headrick II and wife Tonya of Lincolnton, Mary Ann Brookman and husband Ronnie of Bluford, Illinois, Vivian Manley of Bluford, IL and April Headrick and husband Jake of Lincolnton, brother Wayne Headrick, of St. Joseph, MO, his sister Ann Henry of Conover, NC,  14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service officiated by Pastor J. Scott Whitesides will be held 3:00pm December 5, 2021 at Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Newton, NC, 1659 Old Conover Startown Road.
