Donna (Burns) Bridges

Donna B. Bridges, 61, passed away on Thursday August 12, 2021. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Robert Hayden and Joyce Loretta Burns. She was a member of Cornerstone Family Worship in Mount Holly. She loved the beach. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.  

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Jeff Bridges, 2 sons Jeffrey Bridges Jr. (Suzanne) and Jamie Bridges (Chastity), brothers Robert Burns (Angie) and Doug Burns and a sister Vickie Plemmons, a brother in law Danny Plemmons, 5 grandchildren Kaleigh, Madison, Dakota, Cale and Landon.

A service to celebrate the life of Donna will be held 12:00pm Friday August 20, 2021 at Cornerstone Family Worship in Mount Holly with Rev. Kevin McClure officiating. The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Gardens.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the  ICU nurses at Atrium Mercy Hospital in Charlotte.
