Dorothy Clemmer Jones, 90, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020. She was born in Gaston County. She was wife of the late Donald J. Jones.
She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. She retired as a secretary at Pharr Yarns after many years of service. She loved to cook and enjoyed gardening. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son Terry Jones and a grandson Tim Jones
She is survived by 2 sons Rick Jones and wife Donna of Gastonia, Gary Jones and wife Lisa of Mount Holly, grandchildren Steven Jones, Heather and Ryan Jones, Tim and Kelly Jones, and 5 great grandchildren.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jones will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery.
