Douglas Sanford Obituary

Douglas Lee Sanford, 62, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 22, 2020. He was born in Gastonia, son of the late Dean and Audrey Sanford. He worked for many years at Pharr Yarns, Parkdale and was happily employed at the West Gastonia Walmart. He loved his dog Sunshine, watching NASCAR and his friends on the show Moonshiners. He loved spending time in the mountains.

He is survived by Robin Sanford, special friend who was like a sister Cyndi Sanford, sisters Karen Sanford Suttle (Steve), Yvonne Sanford and Patricia Sanford Story, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Sanford will be at a later date.
