Elizabeth Stilwell (Libby) Hendrix

Elizabeth Stilwell Hendrix, 91, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2020. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late David and Edna Hager Stilwell. She was preceded in death by her husband Reid P. Hendrix, 3 sisters Jessie Johnson, Dot Stilwell and Byrle Hendrix and 3 brothers D.C., Landy and Jim Stilwell. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher. She retired from Belmont Hosiery. She enjoyed to cook and work in the yard.  She loved spending time with her grand and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons David Hendrix and wife Karen, Danny Hendrix and wife Annette(Onnie),  5 grandchildren Hope McIntosh, Amy Simmons, David Hendrix, Anne Marie H. Duckworth and Daniel Hendrix, 12 great grandchildren Laurel and Alex Duckworth, Katie and Megan McIntosh, Nikki, Taylor and Cooper Hendrix, Savannah, Noah and Levi Simmons, Dylan and Jacy Hendrix, 2 sisters Evelyn Beatty and Ruby Corr, numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
