Evelyn Rebecca King, passed away on Tuesday March 22, 2022. She was born in Gaston County,daughter of the late Mildred Conard. She was preceded in death by her sister Denise Baliles.
She is survived by her husband Gary King, children Greg Shires and wife Michelle of York, SC, Eric Shires of Enterprise, AL, and Brent Shires of High Shoals. 2 sisters Marcelle Murphy and Debbie Cope. 4 Grandchildren Corey and Casey Shires, Sophie and Stephanie Shires. 3 step children Michael King, Matthew King and Ashley The family would like to offer special thanks to Miranda King and Bertha King for their care during her illness.
A visitation will be held 3:00-5:00pm Saturday March 26, 2022 at the First Methodist Church in Mount Holly, 140 N Main Street, Mount Holly NC 28120 .
