Everette Lee Chapman Obituary

Everette Lee Chapman, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday May 10, 2021.

He was born in Gaston County, son of the late Evan and Ida Chapman.

He was preceded in death by his wives Doris Chapman and Josephine Chapman. He was a member of New Life Baptist in Stanley. He retired from SODYECO/SANDOZ. He loved doing yardwork and keeping his yard nice. He enjoyed having breakfast with the breakfast boys at Hardees.  

He is survived by 2 sons Ricky Chapman and wife Anne of Stanley, and Butch Chapman and wife Brenda of Stanley. Grandchildren Rebecca Williams and husband Kevin of Lincolnton, Christina Williams and husband Billy of Dallas, Jessica Chapman of Charlotte, Casey Chapman Om and husband Bobby of Lowell. 8 Great grandchildren, 4 great grandsons. 2 brothers Robert Chapman of High Shoals and David Chapman of Lincolnton.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Chapman will be held Friday May 14, 2021 at 2:00pm at New Life Baptist Church Gym in Stanley. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
