It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Florence Elizabeth "Lib" Harris, born on May 27, 1944, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lib peacefully departed this world at the Greens in Lincolnton on November 18, 2025.

Lib was the beloved daughter of Richard and Louise Beatty Harris, who preceded her in death. She grew up surrounded by the warmth of her family, which included her dear sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Harris, whom passed earlier this year, and Mary Virginia Harris, and her brother, Richard Harris Jr.and wife Teresa.  Lib also took great joy in her role as an aunt to her niece, Kimberly Follis and husband Steven, and her nephew, Kevin Harris and wife Mandi.

A proud graduate of Mount Holly High School, Lib was an active member of the First Methodist Church in Mount Holly, where she found joy and purpose in her faith. 

A private graveside funeral service will be held  at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery.
