Gary Edward Hettler

Gary Edward Hettler, 71, passed away on Sunday September 12, 2021. He was born in Rochester, New York, son of the late Edward and Dolores Hettler. He was preceded in death by a sister Carolyn Graessel and a brother David Hettler. He retired from WH Rogers in Charlotte. He was an avid golfer and loved his John Deere lawn mower.

He is survived by his wife of over 46 years Gloria Hettler, 3 daughters Christine Hettler (Brian) of Belmont, Carrie Helmkamp (Robb) of Charleston, SC, Cassie Hettler (Anthony) of Asheville. 3 grandchildren Abby, Augie and Brady. 5 sisters Jeanne, Joanne, Gail, Leann and Debbie.

A celebration of his life will be held 4:00pm Friday September 17, 2021 at First Methodist Church in Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00pm prior to the service at the church.
