Obituary
"Glenda Sue McClure Ward, passed away peacefully on March 30th, 2023 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Sue Sherwood McClure. Glenda is survived by her father, Bill McClure of Charlotte. Her husband, Gary Nathaniel Ward Jr. and her son, Jonah of Charlotte. Her sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Dale Newcombe of Stanley. Her niece, Sydney Newcombe and Emily Burk of Denver. Her nephew, Dustin Newcombe of Stanley. And numerous cousins.
Glenda spent her freetime scrapbooking and being an avid fan of coloring pages. Glenda enjoyed spending time with her family, whether it was playing games or simply sitting and laughing together. She will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Her celebration of life will take place on April 4th; visitation will be at 4pm, followed by a service at 5pm at Cornerstone Family Worship, 709 Rankin Avenue, Mount Holly, NC 28120.
