H. Lee Sigmon, 70 of Mount Holly, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 19, 2022. He was son of the late Henry and Margaret Sigmon. He was also preceded in death by his in laws Patty and Fred Richards and a grandson Taylan Lee Sigmon. He retired from Freightliner, TMP after 38 years. He was an avid fisherman, loving husband, Dad, PawPaw, Uncle and friend.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years and 9 months, Sherry Richards Sigmon, Son Mark Sigmon (Jessica) and granddaughter Emma Leigh Sigmon all of Belmont, niece “granddaughter” Alysia Chapman Bolding (Matt) of Dallas, niece “granddaughter” Adina Avendano of Mount Holly, Brothers Ricky Sigmon (Jeanne) of Stanley, Roger Sigmon and wife of Gastonia, sister Marilyn Sigmon Dover of Mount Holly, "Niece daughters" Michele Avendo of Mount Holly and Kara Fraley (Chris and Carter) of Mount Holly. In laws Karen and Michael Chapman of Mount Holly Don and Miyako Richards of Murietta, CA, God grandson Trent Bailey of Lowell, several extended family including cousins and nieces and his beloved cat Smokey Joe Sigmon. 

A service to celebrate his life will be held 4:00pm Thursday February 24, 2022 at Second Baptist Church in Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00pm prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to the National Juvenile Diabetes Association.
