Harold Dean Richards, 64, passed away peacefully on Friday August 20, 2021. He was born in Gaston County, son of Frankie Richards and the late Joe Richards. He was preceded in death by his wife Lisa Richards and his brother Scott "Stump" Richards. He was a huge South Point Red Raider Football Fan. He was an avid fisherman and loved his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his mother Frankie Richards, 2 children Chris Richards and wife Amber and Amber Wilson and husband Steven, 4 grandchildren Shane, Ashlea and Hailey Wilson and Mason Richards, a brother Roger Richards and wife Donna and numerous extended family. 

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 3:00pm Sunday August 29 at Alexander Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm prior to the service at the church.
