Hattie O'Donahue Payne Obituary

Hattie O'Donahue Payne, 92 of Mount Holly NC, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on January 2, 2023. She was born April 13, 1930 to William and Emma O'Donahue. She grew up on a farm in Belmont and attended Belmont schools. She had the heart of a servant and will be missed. She was a member of Day Star Baptist Church.

Hattie is survived by her husband of 73 years Arliss (Bud) Payne, sons Keith (Carolyn), David (Carolyn), one daughter Debbie Lowrance, 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00pm Thursday January 5, 2023 at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in the mausoleum. The service will be conducted by the Reverend Clarence (Junior) Morris.
