Ja'Nyah Michelle Smallwood, daughter of Facheka Smallwood and Samuel Adams III, let the world know she had arrived on October 9, 2002 at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, NC. She was a precious and lovely Angel. Those around Ja'Nyah loved her beautiful smile and her contagious spirit. Ja'Nyah loved styling hair and had dreams of traveling the world with her daughter. She loved her family and was a loving and caring person. She was a wonderfully caring mother. Ja'Nyah left this earthly home on October 28, 2022.

Ja'Nyah leaves behind a beautiful daughter Ja-Liyah Naomi Watson and father MR. Yuri Watson.

Ja'Nyah's Maternal Grandparents Mrs. Sharon Willis of Gastonia, Mr. Marvin McClamy of Greenville, NC, step grandfather Mr. Robert Willis, Aunts Jasmine, Taylor, Madisone and Alexis Willis all of Gastonia.

Ja'Nyah's Paternal Grandparents Verlee Adams and Samuel Adams Jr., and special aunt Debra Adams of whom Ja'Nyah had a special bond.

Ja'Nyah's siblings as she affectionately called her brother and sisters Jahquan Hemphill, Justice Smallwood, Jazlin Smallwood and Jciona Smallwood.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00pm Thursday November 10, 2022 at First Methodist Church Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service.
