James Roland Conner, 78, passed away peacefully at the Carolina Care Rehabilitation Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Coy and Annie Mae Conner, and brothers Gene and Carl Conner.  He retired from Pharr Yarns after over 50 years and service and from Gaston County School Nutrition.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Brenda Conner, 3 children Vernon Conner of Gastonia, Shannon Jenkins (Chris) of Gastonia and Jaime Webb of Gastonia, 3 grandchildren Landon, Madey and Berkley. 2 brothers Bud and Joy Conner, 2 sisters Shirley Atkins and Cora Vinson.

A memorial service will be held 6:00pm Tuesday November 30,2021 at Crossfix Ministries in Belmont.
