Jessica Higgins Revels Obituary
With profound sorrow and deep love, we announce the passing of Jessica Higgins Revels, who entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 11:11 a.m., at the age of 46.
Jessica was a beautiful soul in every sense of the word. She lived her life with grace, compassion, strength, and unwavering faith. Her gentle spirit, kind heart, and selfless love touched countless lives, and the legacy she leaves behind will continue to shine through all who knew and loved her.
Jessica was the devoted and loving wife of Casey Lynn Revels, her partner and best friend for 19 Awesome Years. She was also a cherished mother to her two daughters, Gracie Lynn Higgins 22, and Emma Kay Revels 16, who were the center of her world and her greatest blessings. She poured every ounce of her heart into raising her girls, guiding them with wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love. Nothing brought Jessica more joy than becoming Gigi to her precious granddaughter, Maisley Grace Higgins who turned 7 months the day she passed. She treasured every moment with her and loved her with all her heart. Maisley brought an immeasurable amount of happiness and light into Jessica's life, and being her Gigi was one of her greatest joys and most cherished blessings.
A woman of deep and abiding faith, Jessica loved God with her whole heart and lived as a reflection of His love. Her faith was not only something she believed in—it was something she lived every day. She had a special calling to help others, especially women who had been trafficked, and she dedicated part of her life to a ministry that helped these women find healing, restoration, and hope. Her servant's heart and unwavering compassion made a lasting impact on many lives.
Jessica was a lifelong learner who believed in hard work and perseverance. She graduated with honors from East Gaston High School in 1998. Continuing her education years later, she attended Gaston College, where she excelled academically and received several distinguished honors. In 2020, she was named Outstanding Graduate in Medical Office Administration, Business and Information Technology Division. In 2021, she received the Outstanding Graduate in Medical Office Administration, Career and Technical Education Division. These achievements reflected her determination, resilience, and commitment to always giving her very best.
Jessica was known for her incredible strength, perseverance, and unwavering love for her family. She had a beautiful smile, a caring spirit, and a way of making everyone around her feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. Her kindness and compassion left an imprint on every heart she touched.
She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Casey Lynn Revels; her beloved daughters, Gracie Lynn Higgins and Emma Kay Revels; her precious granddaughter, Maisley Grace Higgins; her parents, Venita K Silver Higgins. and Dwight D Higgins; her siblings, Christy Higgins Overlin and Douglas Ray Higgins; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Lawrence Ray Higgins, and Alta Hardin Higgins, Claude Silver, and Grace Silver, whose loving arms have now welcomed her home.
Though her time on earth was far too short, Jessica's life was a beautiful testimony of faith, love, compassion, and devotion to her family. Her greatest accomplishments were not the awards she received, but the love she gave, the faith she lived by, and the family she cherished with all her heart.
The love she poured into others will continue to live on through her husband, children, granddaughter, family, and the countless lives she touched. Her memory will forever be a blessing, and her light will never fade.
A celebration of Jessica's life will be held at Finish Line Christian Center, 108 North Main Street, Mount Holly Thursday July 2 @ 2 pm. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor, celebrate, and remember the beautiful life she lived.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
