Joe Steve Robinette, 74, of McAdenville, North Carolina, passed away on August 31, 2024. Born on April 8, 1950, in Gastonia, NC, Joe was a lifelong resident and cherished member of the community.

Joe leaves behind a loving family, including his wife of over 53 years, Chris Robinette; daughters, Tammy Robinette and Jennifer Long; grandchildren, Zack Parnell, Hannah Nivens and her husband Corey, and Summer Dockery; great-grandchildren, Reese Christine and Emersyn Ruth; a brother, Kenny Robinette and his wife Paula; and a sister, Kathy Robinette. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harlow and Georgie Robinette, and his brothers, Jerry Robinette and Danny Robinette.

An avid sports enthusiast, Joe dedicated many years to playing softball including time with the Pharr Yarns team, showcasing his passion and skill for the game. His love for sports extended beyond the diamond; he was a fervent fan of all sports especially golf and NASCAR, which brought him much joy and excitement. Joe also found solace and pleasure in gardening, cultivating a space that reflected his care and dedication. Joe loved the Lord and was a saved man.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
