John Ernest Stowe, born on February 20, 1960, in Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on December 31, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved son of the late Ronald and Barbara Sims Stowe.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Cathy Stowe. He is survived by his three brothers, Ronnie Stowe and wife Vanessa, Donnie Stowe and wife Wanda, and Mike Stowe, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

John had a passion for woodworking and spent countless hours honing his craft.

In addition to his love for woodworking, John had a love for NASCAR and dirt track racing. He could often be found cheering on his favorite drivers on the television or at the track.

A memorial service will be held on January 20, 2024, at True Gospel Interdenominational Church, 511 Wilson St. in Stanley, NC. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate John's life at 11:00 am.
