It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Bradley "Brad" Robinson, who departed this life on September 14, 2024. Brad was born on October 25, 1977, and his journey from October 25, 1977, to September 14, 2024, was marked by love, dedication, and an unwavering zest for life.
Brad was the beloved son of John and Kay Robinson. His early years were filled with joy and laughter, setting the stage for the incredible man he would become. He graduated from East Gaston in 1996, where he forged friendships and experiences that would last a lifetime.
Brad's professional life was defined by his commitment and dedication. For twelve years, he worked for Scent Air, where he was not just an employee but a pillar of the company. His colleagues remember him as a dedicated worker whose passion for his job was evident every single day.
Outside of work, Brad had an ardent love for cars, especially Corvettes. His enthusiasm for these vehicles led him to become a member of the NCRS Corvette Club, where he found a community of like-minded enthusiasts and made countless memories.
Brad's personality could light up any room he entered. He was the ultimate friend and family man, always putting his loved ones first. His love for his family was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His wife, Crystal Robinson, daughter Jenna Robinson, brother Bryan Robinson and his wife Joyce, and nieces Shai Robinson "Cassie" and Kyndall Robinson were the center of his world. He also embraced his stepchildren, Brooke Griffin and Justin Lemley, and their families, with open arms and a loving heart. Brad was a proud step-grandfather to four grandsons. His love for his fur babies, poodle Ceyenne and pitbull Gemma, were evident by the way he treated them.
Special bonds extended beyond his immediate family. Friends like Jason Cagle, John Mullis, and Johnny Owenby played crucial roles in Brad's life, helping him in and out of the house daily, showcasing the depth of their friendship. His cousin, Chad Summerville, was a constant presence, sitting with him every day and providing unwavering support. He had so many special friends whom he loved and held dear to his heart.
Brad passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by the love and care of those he cherished most. His life was a testament to the power of love, friendship, and dedication.
