Jonathan Andrew Gibson, 43, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2023.

Jon is preceded in death by his parents, Mark Stephen Gibson and Martha Traywick Gibson, his paternal grandparents, and his maternal grandparents. He is survived by his sister, Sarah Gibson, one uncle, two aunts, and numerous cousins. 

Jon was a kind, loving man who truly had the biggest heart. His empathetic nature gave him a unique view of the world.  He was a foodie and loved to cook.  He had an artist's soul with a passion for drawing and music.  

He loved his family and most of all, his sister, Sarah.  He was sentimental and would often call the people who mattered to him most to share a memory or piece of music that made him think of someone or a special time.

He was deeply loved and will be missed by so many.
