Joseph Lynn Tate Obituary
Joseph Lynn Tate, 62, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 3, 2021.
He was born in Gaston County, son of the late Gladys Brown and Franklin Tate.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia Wilson, children Boogie Tate of Atlanta, Jamie Adams and husband David of Taylorsville, Christy Waters and husband Duane of Stanley, Jerry Wilson and wife Brittany of Belmont. 4 grandchildren Corey, Cohen, Myles and Blakelyn. A brother Frankie Tate and wife Sabrina. A sister Marsha Fletcher of Stanley. Nieces and nephews Danielle Russell, Daniel Russell, Chelsea Tate and Jamie Messer.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Tate will be held 11:00am Tuesday June 8 at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
