Josie Lee Featherstone

Josie Lee Featherstone went home to be with Jesus on December 30, 2020 at age 55.
Josie was born on May 19, 1965 in Lawerance, South Carolina.
Josie met her husband of 35 years , Johnny Featherstone on June the 10th of 1983. They married two
years later on July 13, 1985 and went on to have four children, JR, Anthony, Joseph, and Briana.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife and mother, Josie was an avid adorer of her eight
grandchildren. She held an unwavering faith in the Lord Jesus, and for those who knew and loved her,
they will always remember her saying theses words, "I am covered by the blood". She said this as an
encouragement for others and a witness to her relationship with Him.
Josie joins her dad, John Fortner and her beloved Granny, Maggie Pace Davenport in Heaven. She is
survived by her husband, Johnny, her children, JR (Tabitha), Anthony(Holly), Joseph (Jonni), Briana, and
her eight grandchildren, LJ, Waylon, Jacob, Laynon, Georgia, Anthony, Elisha, And Jayden, her mother,
Sarah Davenport Fortner, her sister Nancy Powell, her brother Johnny Powell Sr., her nieces and
nephews and more extended family members.

powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be
able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord".
