Joyce Imogene Franklin, 92, of Mount Holly, formerly of Spring Hill, passed away on January 30, 2023. She was born in Spring Hill, WV, daughter of the late Beatrice Amy and George Bays. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Alpha Franklin, brother Thurman Jackson Bays and a sister Erma Grace Burgess. She worked many years for Broyles Jewelry Store in Spring Hill. She retired in 1990 and moved to High Point to be close to her daughters family. She was very proud of her 3 grandchildren and loved attending their recitals and sporting events and spoiling them with her homemade treats.
She is survived by her daughters Donna Everhart and husband James C. Everhart Jr. and Robin Franklin, 3 grandchildren Andrew Franklin "Drew" Everhart and wife Katie, James Clifton "Trey" Everhart III and Paige Madison Barbeau and husband Patrick. Great grandchildren Ellery Blake Everhart, Camden Leeds Everhart, Price James Barbeau, and Parker Jordan Barbeau.
A memorial service will be held later at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans , WV.
