Judy Evelyn Hendrix, 78, passed away on Tuesday July 12, 2022. She was born in Washington D.C., daughter of the late Virginia and Walter Clements. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Larry Hendrix and a daughter Noreen Evans. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church since 1973 where she sang in the choir. She loved spending time and spoiling her grandchildren. She enjoyed going on the family beach trip every year and she was an avid Hallmark movie fan. 

She is survived by her daughter Cara Morton and husband Bobby of Mount Holly, son in law Lance Evans, 4 grandchildren Joshua Evans, Jill Morton, David Morton and Allison Morton.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 12:00pm Saturday July 16, 2022 at Covenant United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. 
 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant UMC in her name.
