Karen Barbare Allen, formerly of Hamlet, NC, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2021.
Karen was born August 26, 1964, in Rockingham, NC. She was a proud graduate of the Richmond Raider class of 1982. She completed her BSN at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and worked for many years as a nurse at Moore Regional Hospital
Karen is survived by her son Trey, his wife Kristen, and granddaughter Mya Grace of Mount Holly, NC. Karen is also survived by her daughter Mckenzie Allen and her sweet dog Lizzie of Southern Pines, NC. Her brother Sonny Aycoth and her mother Glenda Terry Aycoth of Rockingham, NC, survive her as well.
Painter Funeral and Cremation Services of Mount Holly, NC, are handling the arrangements. A private service will be held for her family.
