Kathy Victoria Whitner, 72, passed away on Sunday July 25, 2021. She was born in Charlotte, daughter of the late Howard Marley and Maggie Manes. She was preceded in death by her husband Randy Whitner and stepfather Bobby Manes. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist in Stanley.

She is survived by 2 children Dixie Marley and Jamie Morgan, 2 sisters Sandra Jones and Phonzie Childers, and her beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at Stanley Total Living Center for their care and compassion.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00pm Saturday July 31, 2021 at First Freewill Baptist in Stanley. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00pm prior to the service at the church.
