Lois Bell Rhodes passed away at the age of 92 on November 17, 2020 at Carolina Care and Rehabilitation Center in Cherryville, NC. She was born in Copperhill, TN om August 23, 1928.

She is survived by 3 sons and their respective spouses Michael and Kim Horne, Anthony and Edie Horne, and Drey and Suzette Horne. She leaves behind 9 grandchildren Shelley, Jessica, Adam, Seth, Cooper, Emily, Chris, Jeremy and Johnathan, 15 great grandchildren Neeley, Lincoln, Ford, Dylan, Silas, Cason, Leighney, Kinsleigh, Brennan, Addie, Envie, Olivia, Finn, Mason and Gavin.

Lois was known for her generosity and her loving sacrifices for her family, friends, neighbors, and those in need. Her Earthly legacy is that with an uncomplaining and tireless passion, she worked hard providing for her sons and an aging mother yet found joy in her labors and in her time with friends and relatives. The family will hold a private graveside service. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the Cleveland County Hospice Care in Shelby, NC.
