Louis Benjamin (Lou) Pregge

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louis Benjamin "Lou" Pregge, who died on June 20, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. Lou was born on July 13, 1955 in Florida to the late Paul and Patsy Pregge. He was preceded in death by sister Maggie Milbee and brother P.D. Pregge.

Lou was a devoted husband to his wife of 41 years Jenny Pregge and a loving father to their daughter Lauren Pregge (Frankie) of Charlotte, as well as 2 grandchildren Rylie Torres and Guire Torres whom he adored. He also leaves behind 3 sisters Teri Pregge, Paula Lowman (Pepper) and Jackie Leveritt (Larry), brother in law Mike Milbee, sister in law Dawn Pressley (Tony), as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews and extended family.

He loved to spend time with friends and family. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and loved to watch NASCAR races. He was the owner/operator of LBP Drywall for many years.

The family will hold a celebration of life service at a later date.

Lou will be deeply missed by all who knew him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
