Mario Barrales, 42, of Gastonia, passed away on Tuesday November 23, 2021. He was born in Atopoltitlan, Tehuitzingo, Puebla, Mexico, son of Erminia and the late Juan Barrales. He loved soccer and basketball. He enjoyed to exercise especially riding his bike and running. He worked at Los Arcos for 10 years and worked at El Lorito in Bessemer City for 7 years. He was a man who loved his family. He was a loving and compassionate person. Mario was a mentor to many and always had advice to give.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Misty Aguilar, a son Alex Barrales, 4 brothers Vicente, Gino, Ruben and Daniel; 3 sisters Tomasa, Anita and Claudia, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00pm, Saturday November 27, 2021 at First Assembly of God in Gastonia.
