Mary Vance Auten

Mary Vance Auten, 92, went to be with the Lord at home on Saturday September 12, 2020. She was born in Charlotte, daughter of the late Clyde and Sadie Vance. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Auten Sr., and a daughter Bonny Whilden. She was a member of Chapman Memorial Baptist Church in Charlotte. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved sewing, quilting, and her dogs.

Left to cherish her memory is 2 children Marvin Auten Jr. and wife Patricia of Mount Holly, Janet Camara and husband John of Concord. 6 grandchildren Raymond Auten, April Auten, Chad Whilden, Jeremy Whilden, Miranda Camara and Crysta McBride. 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Auten will be held 11:00am Thursday September 17, 2020 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
