Michael Glenn Walker

Michael Glenn Walker, 51, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021. He was born in Gaston County, son of the late Glenn Walker and Shirley Ownes Lewis and Stepfather Dennis Lewis. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Sallie Teague Anderson Owens and Marshall L. Owens Sr., his uncles Charles, Ricky and Ray Owens.  Michael was a wonderful father and grandfather. He loved to make people laugh and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his son Billy Walker, daughter Leanna Waldrup, 2 granddaughters Brooklyn Waldrup and Serenity Smith, brothers Darrell Walker (Bonnie), Larry Walker (Pam), and Jeffrey Walker (Lisa) and several nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Terry Roberts.

A service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday January 5. 2022 at the First Methodist Church in Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Westview Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
